Announcing our 2nd CI-FIRE Workshop on 24 March 2015

We are pleased to announce that the 2nd CI-FIRE Industry Workshop takes place on 24th March 2015 at the Egg in Brussels. The workshop is for businesses and entrepreneurs with a beta technology or new idea and how they can benefit from testing their software or hardware using cutting-edge ICT facilities in realistic conditions.

The agenda offers an excellent balance of presentations, interactive discussions and networking opportunities to understand the services and support currently available. This will help businesses match their specific needs to the different ICT facilities, whether that be IoT, cloud/SDN, 5G/wireless broadband, wired network, sensor network.

A key feature of the workshop is the involvement of businesses that have already benefitted from ICT facilities, taking new future internet products and services. Such large-scale experimental deployments and test solutions in close to real conditions and with the user are becoming increasingly also to address the security risks of IoT.

Co-location with Net Futures, 25-26 March at the same venue opens up three days of unbeatable opportunities for new business leads between European businesses and tech indusrtry. Net Futures will gather 700 attennees forming an interconnected community involving companies, organisations and people in research and innovation, market validation and Living Lab Research.
