The EIT ICT Labs ecosystem in Italy is enriched with an innovation centre in Milan, a new satellite of the Trento Co-Location Centre, which works as a satellite of the Italian node based in Trento.

ICT excellence is highly concentrated in a few areas in Europe. This is a key finding ofa new JRC-led study which maps ICT activity and ranks European regions based on their performance. Out of the 1303 European regions analysed, 34 regions in 12 countries are driving the most ICT activity.
